About the Artist

“I create paintings, prints, murals and drawings that speak on American culture of power and the lack thereof for marginalized people. I’m interested in art that asserts and actively reclaims space and cultural value. Using my own body and identity in my artwork allows me to confront internal and external ideas around authority, memory, space and culture. The dichotomies of visibility and invisibility fascinate me. I use my creativity and personal identity to explore these ideas.”
